NH Governor Maggie Hassan Proclaims March 2014 As General Aviation Appreciation Month
Diane Terrill, manager of Laconia Airport and president of the Granite State Airport Management Association, has announced that Gov. Maggie Hassan has once again proclaimed March as General Aviation Appreciation Month in New Hampshire.
The state's airport system is home to 24 publicly-owned airports that serve over 3,800 pilots who operate a total of 2,055 general aviation aircraft. The system also includes 11 charter flight companies, 17 fixed-base operators, 23 airport repair stations, and one flight school.
